Program Policy
This page describes the standards Renovo Project expects from the quote-routing program so homeowners know what kind of follow-up the service is supposed to produce and what behavior is outside the program's rules.
Program purpose
Renovo Project exists to help homeowners request a roofing quote and reach a matched contractor without entering a multi-bidder lead auction.
The program is built around a request-specific handoff: homeowner request in, matched contractor follow-up out.
Matching standard
In Phase 1, Renovo Project aims to route each eligible request to one matched contractor serving the relevant area.
Renovo Project may decline, delay, or withhold routing when coverage is unavailable, the request appears abusive, or the lane is not active.
Contractor follow-up standards
Participating contractors are expected to identify themselves clearly, contact the homeowner about the quote request they submitted, and keep follow-up tied to that project.
Participating contractors are expected to honor opt-outs, respect homeowner preferences, and avoid misleading, abusive, or high-pressure conduct.
- Use the lead for the requested project conversation, not for unrelated campaign blasting.
- Do not resell or further broker the lead outside the program.
- Identify the contractor business clearly when calling, texting, or emailing.
Homeowner responsibilities
Homeowners should submit accurate contact information and use the flow only for legitimate project requests.
If a homeowner no longer wants to be contacted, they should communicate that directly by replying STOP to texts or asking the caller or sender to stop.
Program enforcement
Renovo Project and Obieo may suspend, remove, or refuse contractors or requests that do not fit the program, create legal or reputation risk, or violate these standards.
